Job Summary
The Marketing & Promotions Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's marketing and promotional strategies to increase brand awareness, generate customer demand, support sales growth, and strengthen the company's position in the furniture market.
The position will oversee marketing campaigns, product promotions, digital marketing, social media, advertising, exhibitions, showroom promotions, market research, and brand communications. The Manager will work closely with the Sales, Production, Design, and Management teams to ensure that marketing activities effectively support the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement annual and monthly marketing and promotional plans aligned with company sales objectives.
Develop strategies to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and market share.
Identify target customer segments, including individual customers, retailers, distributors, offices, hotels, contractors, interior designers, property developers, and institutions.
Develop marketing strategies for new product launches and existing product lines.
Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget.
Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements based on results.
2. Promotions & Campaign Management
Plan and execute promotional campaigns for furniture products, seasonal offers, new collections, and special events.
Develop promotional programs to support sales targets and clear slow-moving or excess inventory.
Coordinate discounts, special offers, bundles, customer loyalty programs, and other promotional activities in accordance with company policies.
Plan showroom promotions, product displays, launches, and customer engagement activities.
Evaluate the effectiveness and return on investment of promotional campaigns.
3. Digital Marketing & Social Media
Develop and manage the company's digital marketing strategy.
Manage social media platforms and ensure consistent, professional, and engaging content.
Develop content showcasing furniture products, collections, designs, manufacturing processes, projects, customer testimonials, and company achievements.
Plan and manage paid digital advertising campaigns.
Monitor online engagement, inquiries, leads, and campaign performance.
Coordinate website content, product information, promotions, and updates.
Ensure the company's online presence reflects its brand identity and quality standards.
4. Brand Management
Develop and maintain consistent corporate and product brand identity.
Ensure all marketing materials, advertisements, signage, packaging, catalogs, brochures, and digital content follow company brand guidelines.
Strengthen the company's image as a reliable and quality-focused furniture manufacturer.
Coordinate professional photography, product videos, catalogs, brochures, and other marketing materials.
Protect and promote the company's brand reputation across all communication channels.
5. Product Marketing
Work closely with Production and Design teams to understand product features, materials, finishes, quality, pricing, and competitive advantages.
Develop marketing messages that clearly communicate product benefits and value to customers.
Support new furniture product launches from planning through promotion.
Develop product catalogs, brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
Gather customer feedback and market information to identify opportunities for new products or improvements.
6. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Conduct regular market research to understand customer preferences, buying behavior, and emerging furniture trends.
Monitor competitors' products, prices, promotions, distribution channels, and marketing activities.
Identify new market segments and business opportunities.
Provide management with regular market intelligence and recommendations.
Analyze customer feedback to improve marketing strategies and product positioning.
7. Events, Exhibitions & Public Relations
Plan and coordinate participation in furniture exhibitions, trade fairs, business events, and industry shows.
Organize product launches, showroom events, customer events, and promotional activities.
Coordinate exhibition booths, displays, promotional materials, staff, and logistics.
Develop relationships with media, industry organizations, influencers, designers, and other relevant stakeholders.
Support public relations activities and company announcements.
8. Sales Support
Work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Supervisors to develop campaigns that generate qualified sales leads.
Provide sales teams with catalogs, brochures, product information, promotional materials, and campaign updates.
Develop promotional tools to support retailers, distributors, and key accounts.
Track marketing-generated leads and coordinate with the sales team for follow-up.
Analyze the relationship between marketing activities, customer inquiries, and sales results.
9. Team & Agency Management
Supervise and guide marketing staff, designers, content creators, or promotional personnel.
Brief and manage external advertising agencies, photographers, printers, digital marketers, and other service providers.
Ensure marketing projects are completed on time and within approved budgets.
Negotiate with marketing suppliers and service providers when required.
Maintain quality standards for all marketing outputs.
10. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing reports.
Track campaign performance, marketing expenses, leads, customer engagement, and promotional results.
Monitor marketing KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
Present marketing performance and recommendations to management.
Maintain an organized database of campaigns, promotional materials, customer feedback, and marketing activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably with experience in a managerial or supervisory position.
Experience in furniture, interior design, home décor, construction materials, retail, manufacturing, or a related industry is highly preferred.
Proven experience developing and implementing successful marketing and promotional campaigns.
Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
Experience in brand management, market research, events, and promotional activities.
Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and marketing/CRM tools.
Knowledge of graphic design, photography, video production, or content creation is an advantage.
